FAQ

Things people usually ask before they commit.

Do I need upper body strength to start?

Absolutely not. That's a myth. You come to class to build the strength. Our beginner curriculum is designed to take you from zero to climbing without injury.

What should I wear?

For Pole: Shorts are essential (skin grip is safety). A sports bra or tank top. No lotion on your legs/hands on the day of class.

For Flow/Floor: Leggings and socks/kneepads are recommended for sliding.

I have zero coordination. Is that okay?

Yes. Coordination is a learned skill, not a magical gift. We break movements down into tiny, logical pieces so your brain can catch up with your body.

What if I'm not flexible?

Flexibility is a journey, not a prerequisite. We work on mobility and range of motion in every class. Many students see significant improvements within weeks.

How do I book a class?

Book directly through our booking system or send us a message via the contact form. We'll confirm your spot within 24-48 hours.

Can I try a class before committing?

Absolutely! Drop-in classes are perfect for trying us out. New students get 10% off their first class—use code FIRSTCLASS when booking.

About

Why we train the way we do.

Grounded mechanics, aerial results.

Rooted in Motion isn't just a name; it's our methodology. We believe that high-level aerial skills require a deep-rooted understanding of body mechanics. Many studios rush you to invert; we teach you the engagement that makes inverting effortless.

Based in Maidstone, our training environment is designed for focus. We keep class sizes small so you get actual coaching, not just supervision. Whether you are retraining after an injury or looking for a new discipline, we build the athlete first and the tricker second.

Values

Safety without fear. Discipline without punishment. Progress without ego.
